Graphite and blackberries, crushed stone on nose. Palate is cassis, blackberries, chocolate on a rocky mineral palate. 90% Malbec is co-fermented with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for complexity and concentration. ZaHa means “Heart” in Mendoza’s native Huarpe language. Fermented with native yeasts, aged 12 months in French oak. Winemaker Alejandro Sejanovich is considered one of the top winemakers in South America, together with his partner Jeff Mausbach, they are behind both ZaHa and TeHo in Altamira and Anko in Salta.
